We exist to bridge the digital and education divide to ensure equal access to information and knowledge, as well as foster innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship by encouraging digital literacy and STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) for youths and the use of Digital tools to solve local community problems (SDG 9).
We base our efforts to mobilise and enhance the capacities and life standards of the needy communities in Cameroon whilst holding absolute hope in achieving this change through a participatory and a sustainable manner. COMPSUDEV works towards a society in which everyone has access to opportunities that are fulfilling and engaging, and contribute to the development of community initiatives for a better nation.
Providing a welcoming and safe gathering space for youth to build a sense of community between themselves and others. We also empower Girls’ education and its a strategic development priority. Better educated women tend to be more informed about nutrition and healthcare, have fewer children, marry at a later age, and their children are usually healthier, should they choose to become mothers.
While some dictionaries define the word right as “a privilege,” when used in the context of “human rights,” we are talking about something more basic. Every person is entitled to certain fundamental rights, simply by the fact of being human. These are called “human rights,” rather than a privilege, which can be taken away at someone’s whim. Every person is entitled to certain rights—simply by the fact that they are a human being.
Creating an environment where youth feel inspired to learn and grow, while exploring their passions and imagination.
IT development is a process that prepares a young person to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood and achieve his or her full potential. IT is promoted through activities and experiences that help youth develop computer competencies.
