Community Participation in Sustainable Development (COMPSUDEV) Cameroon, a social enterprise that connects under-served people and groups with sustainable development opportunities and to foster the use of ICT tools to solve problems facing under-served communities
COMPSUDEV is geared toward improving the quality of life of disadvantaged communities through sustainable livelihood programs, digital rights intervention, leadership, and entrepreneurship and high velocity personal growth programs
COMPSUDEV was created in 2017 in response to the pressing need for youths with skills in leadership, entrepreneurship and to advocate for the rights of minority groups. Within our 4 years of existence we have trained youths in ICT, STEM, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, digital rights and cyber security.
Our programs are designed to meet the needs of the rapidly changing society and to keep youth with the trends of the digital world so they may remain relevant in the global space
We have carried out projects on internet circumvention, digital rights and digital security, ICT for girls, community development mentorship and leadership workshops and personal growth.
So far we have reached 0ver 1000 youths from the ages 12 – 35 within the Northwest, Southwest, Center and littoral regions of Cameroon. In the northwest, we have covered 5 of the 7 regions and we continue to expand our reach to more communities even in remote areas.
